What You’ll Accomplish

  • Match our internal strategy to the needs of external market (incl. granting bodies and end-users)
  • Build the grants infrastructure for sourcing, writing and winning grants
  • Develop collateral including grants, white papers, slides
  • Administer won grants
  • Develop a go to market strategy for the coming years
  • Become a thought leader on attaining large-scale quantum computing
  • Explore & lead partnership opportunities with end-users, partners & granting agencies
  • Represent UQ at conferences, trade shows & meetings

The 3 Most Critical Attributes We’ll Use to Compare Candidates

  1. Ability to digest deeply technical product roadmaps and match to external opportunities
  2. Technical writing, especially technical grants
  3. Strong communicator via multiple medium (prose, spoken, slides)

Must-have Skills

  • You have written and won highly technical grants
  • You have presented publicly and converse confidently with senior professionals
  • You have generated high-quality collateral (including slides, white papers, posters)
  • You have formed and managed external partnerships
  • You have worked in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-have Skills

  • You are a trained scientist or engineer (STEM subject), preferably with a PhD
  • You have worked in a technology startup
